Sylvia Williamson Hess, 75, Fremont, died Nov. 19, 2017.
Funeral Saturday, Nov. 25, 2 p.m. Aycock's Primitive Baptist Church, Fremont, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.
She is survived by her husband, elder John H. Hess; daughters, Gwendolyn Strausser (Carl) of Stevens, Pa., and Michelle Long (Dean) of Lititz, Pa., six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Velma Lancaster (Wade) and Ruth Jernigan (Jimmie) of Fremont, Joan Joyner (Frank) of Bailey and Darlene Bumgarner (Don) of Wilson; and brothers, Clayton Williamson (Faye) and Harold Williamson (Linda) of Fremont and G.C. Williamson (Melinda) of Kenly.
She was a daughter of the late George T. and Mae Evans Williamson, and was also preceded by a sister, Ola W. Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Aycock's Church, 810 Reidtown Road, Fremont, N.C., 27830-9686, and Muddy Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 3284 Catherine Lake Road, Chinquapin, N.C., 28521-9609.
