Graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
He was born in Wayne County May 21, 1953, to the late Payton Lee Sr. and Beatrice Howell Atkinson.
Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
