Brooks Edward Hester, 69, Baton Rouge, La., died Friday.
Funeral will be Saturday at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle of Sims at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Kirby Cemetery of Kenly.
Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home of Wilson.
