ESTELLE S. CREECH

Estelle Sutton Creech, 95, of the Bucklesberry Community in LaGrange, peacefully passed away on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017.
Estelle was born Jan. 23, 1922, in Lenoir County to the late Harry M. Sutton and Lillie E. Sutton. Her beloved husband of 67 years, James Kenneth Creech, preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 2014.
A lady of strong faith, Estelle worshiped her Lord at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. Estelle loved genealogy and tracing her family history. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and loved traveling the country with her bus trip friends. Estelle delighted in working with her hands and loved to crochet, needlepoint and quilt.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Flynn officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 10 a.m. from Westview Cemetery.
Estelle is survived by her son, Pat Creech and wife, Darlene; two grandsons, Chris Creech and wife, Lucretia and Tony Creech and wife, Christina; four great-grandchildren, Colby Creech, Fawn Creech, Brianna Creech and Heather Creech; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Cora Creech; and two special family friends, Ella Daughety and Angela Barwick.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.
