Ora Louise Grant, 84, Goldsboro, passed away late Tuesday night.
Louise was born in Wayne County May 16, 1933, to the late Emmitt Jones and Ada Davis Jones. She was married to the late Oscar "Boot" Grant.
Louise was retired from Rosewood Florist.
She was a member of Westwood United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Flatfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Terry Hobbs officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at 207 Jordan Bluff Drive, Pikeville, N.C.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Bettie Grant of Goldsboro and Portia Synder of Snow Hill; sisters, Bernice Davis, Eloise Newsome and Lowrise Howell and husband, Norwood; brother, Edward Jones and wife, Kat; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Westwood United Methodist Church, 130 Short St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Oscar L. Grant, and brother, Emmitt Earl Jones.
