Elder Lorenza Demarco King, 53, 305 E. Maple St., Mount Olive, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at Northeast Original Free Will Baptist Church, with Bishop Chester Aycock officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Raiford L. King and the late Barbara Southerland King.
A daughter survives.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 tonight at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service at the church and at other times, at the home.
