RODNEY F. HALL

Rodney Farrior Hall passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro May 12 at 11:10 p.m. with his daughters by his side.
Born in Duplin County July 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Jimmy D. Hall and late Pearl Millard Hall.
Mr. Hall served in the North Carolina Army National Guard for more than 40 years.
He was dedicated to service to others through his work and membership with the Mount Olive Lions Club, the Wayne Shrine Club and the Mount Olive Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 16, at 3 p.m. at Shumate Faulk Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by the gravesite burial at Wayne Memorial Park with Masonic and United States military rites.
Surviving are his wife, Belle Hare Hall of Mount Olive; two daughters, Dr. Debbie Hall Grady of Goldsboro and friend, Thomas Price, and Marcia Hall Davis and husband, Jeff Davis ,of Cary; one brother, Bobby Hall of Mount Olive; six grandchildren, Ryan Davis of Raleigh, Jennifer Moye and husband, Dr. Phillip Moye, of Goldsboro, Jenny Leigh Grady of Raleigh, Anthony Rodney Grady of Mount Olive and fianceé, Samantha Pierce, Joel Davis of Tennessee and Patrick Davis of Kentucky; great-grandchildren, Elise Moye, Thad Moye, Seth Moye, Jacob Davis, Avalon Davis and Piper Davis.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Hall, Perry Hall, Elbert Hall, W.F. "Dub" Hall, Grover Hall and Gurman Hall, and two sisters, Elmyrtle H. Moore and Sadie Gautier.
