GLYNN DIXON

Bonner Glynn Dixon, 67, resident of the Rones Chapel community near Mount Olive, passed away suddenly Friday, Dec. 30.
He was a native of the Beautancus community and was son of the late Elwind and Nell Sasser Dixon.
He had been a truck driver.
Glynn is survived by his wife, Kim Taylor Dixon, of the home; a son, Jason Dixon and wife, Ashley, of Clayton; a daughter, Taylor Matthis Moorison of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Madison Dixon, Macy Dixon and Marty Dixon; his twin sister, Lynn Dixon Best of Mount Olive; two brothers, Truett Dixon of Wendell and Sammy Dixon of Mount Olive; a number of nieces and nephews; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Jewel Taylor of Kenansville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laurel Dixon Stroud, and brothers, E. J. Dixon and Joe Dixon.
A service to remember Glynn's life will be Monday, Jan. 2, at 2 p.m. at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. J. Paul Rose, with visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Bear Marsh Church, 1649 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
