ALMA HALL DANIELS

Alma Hall Daniels, 89, died Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Smitha Pollard Hall and was the wife of the late Marvin Daniels.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bennie Daniels; and a son-in-law, Jesse Lane.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Pate officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Alice Lane. Burial will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by four daughters; Jean Bass and husband, JE, of LaGrange; Alice Lane of Goldsboro; LaVerne Layton and husband, Paul, of Goldsboro; and Marlene Hughes and husband, Bo, of Goldsboro. In addition to her daughters and sons-in-law, she is survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
