Margaret Turnage Pope, 75, Dudley, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Margaret was born in Wayne County Feb. 2, 1941, to the late John William Turnage and Nannie Ham Turnage. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl "John" Pope.
Margaret had worked with J.P. Stevens Co., Barry of Goldsboro and Baker Perkins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
At other times, friends and family will be received at 2314 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Lynn Walston, Robbin Pope and son-in-law, Kenneth Brewer, and Connie Pope; son, John Earl Pope and wife, Linda; sister, Laura; grandchildren, Casey Walston, Christopher Walston, Maranda Pope Radford, Kellie Renee Pope and Nicholas Pope; and 11 great-grandchildren.
