Steadman Pickett Jr., Wallace, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
Funeral will be at First Missionary Baptist Church of Chinquapin Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Charles Farmer officiating. Burial will be at Pickett Cemetery in Wallace.
He was married to Betty C. Pickett.
He is survived by four sons, a daughter and two stepchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
