Miss Kalee Marie Rich, 19, resident of Mount Olive, passed away Saturday afternoon, Aug. 13, at Vidant Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in an accident earlier in the week.
She graduated from Southern Wayne High School with the class of 2014, and was employed with Village Green Steakhouse at the time of her passing.
Kalee is survived by her parents, Lee and Krissy Clark Rich of the home; three sisters, Brooke Leigh Rich, Lauren Jolee Rich and Adilee Elaine Rich all of the home; a nephew, Bradley Drake Bennett also of the home; maternal grandparents, Audrey Smith of New York and Michael Clark of Pink Hill; paternal grandparents, Marvin Rich of Dudley and Sara Coffey and step-grandfather, Keith Coffey, of Henderson; and her beloved dogs, Lady and Kila.
Kalee's life will be remembered in a service to be held Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends during the hour before the service at the funeral home.
