Billie Faye Hall Merchant, 83, passed away Monday at Goldsboro Assisted Living.
She was the daughter of the late William P. and Bessie Chrismon Hall, and was the wife of the late George Terry Merchant Jr.
Entombment services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in the mausoleum.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Merchant is survived by a son, Terry Merchant of Goldsboro; a brother, Dillard Hall of Eden, N.C.; a sister LaVerne Griffin of Reidsville, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Goldsboro Assisted living for its kind and compassionate care, and Ashley Maddox as well.
