Virginia Rose Pollock Scott, 72, died Monday at home.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jasper Renfrow and the Rev. Danny Creech officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
She was born in Johnston County Nov. 26, 1943, to the late Lonnie Wright and Junnie Mae Edwards Pollock.
She is survived by a daughter and a son.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 tonight at Kenly Funeral Service.
