FAYE MALPASS JONES

Wilma Faye Malpass Jones, 71, Mount Olive resident, passed away Tuesday morning, March 15, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home and at other times, at the Cortney Jones residence, 605 Kelly Road, Mount Olive.
Faye's working career included employment at Mt. Olive Pickle Co. and Young Squire Industries, and serving as a caregiver to the elderly.
A native of Faison, she was the daughter of the late K.D. and Wilma Byrd Malpass.
Faye is survived by her husband of 56 years, John William "Bill" Jones of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Ann S. Jones of Mount Olive; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa "Missy" and Darryl Little of Mount Olive; three grandchildren, Cortney Jones and fiancé, Eddie Howell, of Mount Olive, Jonathan Jones and wife, Christy, of Grantham and Tommy Little of Mount Olive; four great-grandchildren, Laken Faulk, Cason Howell, Bryson Jones and Eli Jones; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie Ruth and Gerald Kornegay of Mount Olive and Deborah "Debbie" Malpass of Mount Olive; sisters-in-law, Joy J. Malpass of Mount Olive and Melinda A. Malpass of Faison; the in-laws from the Jones family, Audrey J. Wheeler and husband, Clifton, Kaye J. Holmes and Russell Jones all of Mount Olive, Ann J. Matthews of Clinton, Mavis J. Faircloth of Garner, Evelyn J. Hill of Morehead City and Earl Jones of Goldsboro; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Meade M. Langston and Jackie Ann M. Vernon; three brothers, Kenneth Donald Malpass, Gerald Franklin Malpass and Dennis Wayne Malpass; and her husband's parents, Henry and Ruby Jones.
