Stacy Paul Scott, 47, Goldsboro, N.C., formerly of Arkansas City, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, in Greenville, N.C.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Burial will follow in Parker Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Stacy was born Nov. 30, 1968, in Arkansas City, to Bud and Fern (Jordan) Scott.
He was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating in 1987.
Stacy worked for Seaboard Foods of Guymon, Okla., several years before moving to North Carolina to work as a supervisor at Smithfield Foods of Clinton, N.C.
Survivors include his fiancee´, Dana Dobson of Goldsboro; a son, Casey and wife, Kayla, of Winfield; parents, Bud and Fern Scott of Arkansas City; brothers, Stan and wife, Stacy Scott, of Guymon, Okla., Stuart and wife, Faye Scott, of Wathena, Rod and wife, Jill Scott, of Springdale, Ark., and Randy and wife, Sonya Scott, of Arkansas City; a sister, Shelly and husband, Scott Brown, of Wichita; a granddaughter Dayton Ivory Scott; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established with Ronald McDonald Houses of Kansas City. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Arrangements are being made through Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
