Throughout her life, Doris lived her life with resiliency and a love for life. She faced her obstacles with grace and dignity and with an abiding faith in Jesus Christ.
Doris could light up a room with her joyous personality and radiant smile. She was an amazing mother to her boys and grandmother to her grandchildren.
Anyone who knew her knew she could make friends with anyone and was a kind and loving person to all she met. Doris was blessed to have so many loyal lifelong friends to share her wonderful memories and experiences with over the years.
A service celebrating Doris’ life will be held Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with her pastor, the Rev. Terry Hobbs, and the Rev. David Francis officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
