BENJAMIN C. WILLIAMSON

Benjamin Carlyle Williamson, 87, resident of Kinston, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Home.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Westminster United Methodist Church at 1001 Westminster Lane, Kinston, N.C., 28501.
Mr. Williamson was born in Johnston County, N.C., June 13, 1928, to the late Carl Arthur Williamson Sr. and Eva Lucille Boykin.
He served in the United States Air Force, and retired with more than 30 years of service.
Survivors include two children, Fran Jordan and husband, Ernest, of Fremont and John Williamson and wife, Phyllis, of Dudley; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was also close with his nephew, Bruce Williamson and wife, Debbie, and his neighbors in Kinston.
He was preceded in death by three children, Sally Jo Williamson, Christie W. Carlyle and Ben Williamson Jr., and one great-grandchild, Whitney E. Langley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster United Methodist Church, 1001 Westminster Lane, Kinston, N.C., 28501.
Paul Funeral Home and Crematory of Washington is honored to serve the Williamson family.
