Luby Darrell Powell, 78, Dudley, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016.
Funeral service Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2 p.m. West and Dunn Funeral Home chapel of Newton Grove. Officiating will be the Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan. Burial will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Newton Grove.
Survivors are daughters, Angela Garcia and husband, Eddie, of Kenly and Amanda Ellis and husband, Ricky, of LaGrange; son, Ronald Powell of Dudley; sisters, Helen Allen, Joyce Wood and Louise Rhodes all of Four Oaks and Alice Allen of Benson; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Anna G. Powell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 1 to 2 p.m.
