Christopher "Chris" Columbus Pickett, 86, 463 S. N.C. 111, died Sunday at the Brian Center in Wallace.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church Chinquapin, with pastor Charles Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Chasten Family Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Dundy and Luvenia Pickett, and husband of Juanita Chasten Pickett.
Four children survive.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the home.
