Martin Arthur Fischel, 76, Fremont, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at his home.
No formal service will be held.
Martin was born in Newark, N.J., Dec. 16, 1939, to the late Lawrence and Sylvia Sonnabend Fischel.
He was married to the late Helen C. Fischel, who preceded him in death Sept. 24, 2014.
Martin retired from Motorola in Schaumburg, Ill., and later went to work with J.R.'s in Smithfield.
He will be remembered for his great love of golf and NFL Football "Go Chargers."
Martin is survived by his daughter, Antoinette Emrich and husband, Kevin, of Fredericksburg, Pa.; sons, Brian Fischel and wife, Kathy, of Fremont and Joseph Martin Fischel and wife, Dana, of Mansfield, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Hartson and husband, Atlan, Corey Bradley, Sarah Fischel and Victoria Fischel; and a great-grandson, Jonathan Bradley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Leukemia Foundation, 191 Waukegan Road, Suite 105, Northfield, Ill., 60093.
