Kathleen Bayles, 91, died Aug. 6, 2015, while a patient at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Sioux Falls, S.D., she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Emma Erickson Zigler.
She left her family to join her husband, Henry Ford Bayles of more than 65 years, who preceded her in death in December 2014.
As a career military wife, she enjoyed a varied and full life.
She is missed dearly by everyone who knew her, but we all know we will be together again in the future. We love you "Mom."
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will be receiving friends for one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Sue Bayles; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Larry Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Marie Zigler; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Anderson; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
