James Pride Jr., 76, 510 E. Pollock St., Mount Olive, died Thursday in Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at First African Baptist Church, with the Rev. Samuel Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Wynn Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 23, 1939, to the late Lee Alice Robinson Pride and the late James B. Pride Sr. He was married to Edna Armwood Pride.
He is survived by 10 children.
Visitation, with the family present, Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home.
