Mrs. Margaret Fields Hill, 80, resident of Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 11, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 13, at Tyndall Funeral Home, beginning at 4 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Christopher Turner and the Rev. Dustin Bannister. A private interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Friends are also being received at the home of
Kathy Turner, 622 W. Main St., Mount Olive.

Dexter.
Mrs. Hill was a member of First Christian Church of Mount Olive.
She will be remembered as having been employed in the office of Dr. M.M. Lownes Jr. in Mount Olive as secretary and office clerk.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy H. Turner of Mount Olive and Dell H. and Rick Sexton of Wake Forest; four grandchildren, Kelly T. Morris and husband, Brent, of Clayton, Ashley T. Brodzinski and husband, Ben, of Raleigh and Monica Sexton and Tyler Sexton both of Wake Forest; four great-grandchildren, Kaden Morris, Holden Morris, Braylyn Bellard and Hughlon Brodzinski; and a special cousin, who was raised to be like a sister, Linda Sutton Fields and husband, Parks, of Greensboro.
Family members who have preceded her in death include her husband, Charles Linwood Hill; her parents, Russell and Eudell Herring Fields; a brother, James Fields; a former son-in-law, Gene Turner; and a special aunt and uncle, Hazel and Gilbert
Sutton.
