DWAYNE TAYLOR

Mr. Robert Dwayne Taylor, 48, of Snow Hill, died Saturday morning, July 18, 2015, surrounded by his family.
Dwayne was born Feb. 23, 1967, the son of Gary Wayne and Annette Tyson Taylor.
He was an avid sports fan, having been a talented baseball player as a teenager, and an avid outdoorsman also, particularly loving to fish.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Angel Hope Taylor; maternal grandparents, Robert "Buck" and Annie Laurie Tyson; and paternal grandparents, Willie and Ruby Taylor.
His surviving family includes his parents, Gary W. "Bud" and Annette T. Taylor; sister, Selena Taylor Sutton and husband, Todd; niece, Laurie Sutton and friend, Josh Ribeiro; and several aunts, uncles and cousins of the Tyson and Taylor families.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, with the Rev. Keith Phillips and the Rev. Todd Sutton officiating. Committal services will be held privately.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service Wednesday and other times at the home, 111 Edgemont Drive, Snow Hill.
Dwayne loved children, and to honor that, memorials in his memory may be directed to Cragmont Assembly, 1233 N. Fork Road, Black Mountain, N.C., 28711.
