Barbara Walston Smith, 70, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late Leon Walston and Penny Jones Walston Worrell, and wife of the late Milton R. Smith.
She was a member of El Bethel Assembly (Bethel Church).
A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Allen Smith and wife, Trish, of Goldsboro and Dan Crawford and wife, Christy, of Mount Olive; her daughters, Sheila McCullen of Goldsboro and Connie Smith of Dudley; two sisters, Inez Harris of Tarboro and Ruby Thompson of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren, Scottie Harrison, Michael Barrow, Milton Barrow, Jennifer Renee Smith, Richard Allen Smith, Derek Smith, Jeremiah Waddell, Ashley Wilson, Christopher Howard and Josh Crawford; and eight great-grandchildren.
