MICHEAL EZRA BLACKMON

Micheal Ezra Blackmon, 65, Kenly, passed away Saturday evening at Johnston University of North Carolina Health surrounded by his loving family.
Micheal was born in Wayne County Jan. 29, 1950, to the late Ezra Golden and Lillian Raper Blackmon.
He was a member of Holt's Pond Church of God of Prophecy in Princeton.
Micheal had a deep passion for the outdoors and fishing. He was most happy when out on his boat or in his garage working on cars.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service, with the Rev. Jimmy Earp officiating. Interment will take place Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Kenly Cemetery.
Micheal is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dianne Johnson Blackmon; daughters, Jennifer Davis and husband, Tony, of Selma and Tracy Bass and husband, Michael, of Black Creek; sister, Robena Justice and husband, Grifton, of Nahunta; grandchildren, April Davis and Jackson Lee Bass; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ken and Bobby Blackmon.
The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday evening, and at other times, at the home of his daughter.
