Furney W. Stroud, 59, Kinston, died Wednesday.
Funeral will be Sunday at 5 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brad Mitchell and the Rev. Clyde Eure officiating. Interment will be Monday at 4 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
He was born July 29, 1955, in Lenoir County to the late Furney and Mary Louise "Tootsie" Waters Stroud. He was married to Martha Jo Vinson Stroud.
He is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be Sunday following the memorial service.
