Edward Joe Pemberton, 311 Oliver St., Mount Olive, died Tuesday at home.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Payne Temple Church. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Duplin County April 11, 1939, to the late Edward Pemberton Sr. and Virginia Faison Pemberton. He was married to Vivian Pemberton.
He is survived by three children.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
