DAVID C. HILLS

David C. Hills, 76, formerly of Kinston, passed away peacefully Feb. 4 with his daughters at his bedside.
Dave was a veteran of the United States Navy, and a retired employee of Caswell Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Violet Barwick Hills; and his faithful canine companion, Lady Bird.
A service to celebrate David's life will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. at Oak Forest Church of Christ in Goldsboro, with Mr. Lennie Reagan officiating.
The family will greet friends Saturday following the service at the church.
His survivors include daughters, Cindy Hills Hamilton and husband, Walt, of Chocowinity, N.C., and Donna Hills Pike and husband, Jerry, of Kinston, N.C.; grandchildren, Erin Pike, Sarah Pike and Jessica Pike of Kinston, N.C.; special friends, Mike and Patti Childers of Goldsboro; and grandfurbabies, Fred, Barney, Noodles Nicole, Puggsy and Roxie.
