Roy Davis Mathis, Sr., 83, Warsaw, died Tuesday at his home.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw.
The burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Warsaw.
He was born on Jan. 7, 1932 in a cabin in Beaman Woods in Sampson County to the late William Davis and Bessie Mae Mathis.
He was preceded in death by his son.
He is survived by a daughter.
