Charles Herman Artis, 61, 307 S. Alabama Ave., died Jan. 14 at home.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 22, 1953, to Wiley and Mayolia Lewis Artis in Wayne County.
He is survived by two children.
Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., with family present 7 to 8, at the funeral home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
