Emma Lisa Braswell McWilliams, 71, went to be with her Lord and savior Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at noon at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Old Mill Cemetery.
Mrs. McWilliams was born in Wayne County Aug. 8, 1943.
She was a member of Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Perry McWilliams; a daughter, Deborah Carr Battle and husband, Linwood, of Goldsboro; three brothers; three sisters; a grandchild, Adrienne; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McWilliams was preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Braswell Best.
A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends other times at the home of her daughter, 101 Shadywood Drive, Goldsboro.
