Francis Bolton "Frank" Fredere Jr., 82, passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Frank was born in Georgia on Feb. 1, 1932, to the late Francis Bolton Fredere Sr. and Mary Horton Fredere. He was married to the late Geri Fore Fredere. Frank retired from hospitality management and had served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Whiteville Cemetery in Whiteville, with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Jo Fredere Ramsey and husband, Doug, of East Bend and Lisa Fredere Wood and husband, Jimmie, of Princeton; son, Frank Bolton Fredere III and wife, Kandi, of Hodges, S.C.; brother, Robert C. "Bobby" Fredere of Lakeland, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Ashlee Ramsey, Haylee Wood, Hannah Wood, Audrey Fredere and Branden Fredere.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry H. Fredere.
The family will greet friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Lisa Wood.
