Lisa Blizzard Bowden, 56, Beautancus community, Mount Olive, passed away Friday morning, Dec. 5, 2014, at her home.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Monday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at other times, at the home of Phoebe and Caleb Overton, 1552 Beautancus Road, Mount Olive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Paul Rose, followed by burial in Whitfield Cemetery in the White Flash community.
She was a homemaker, and had been a sales clerk with Super Dollar Store and Family Dollar Store.
She was a member of Alum Springs Church.
She is survived by her husband, Buddy Bowden of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Phoebe and Caleb Overton of Mount Olive; a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Whitney Bowden of Mount Olive; three grandchildren, Chandler, Dawson and Iala Overton of Mount Olive; a sister, Robin Blizzard Wiggins of Seven Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Jesse Randall and Henrietta Whitfield Blizzard, and two sisters, Gloria Faye B. Barnette and Brenda B. Jackson, preceded her in death.
