Mary Joyce Sugg Pierce, 80, Clayton, died at the Brian Center in Clayton Tuesday.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Minshew-Coley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Aubrey Williamson officiating. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Kenly Cemetery.
Born in Greene County Sept. 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Retho Sugg and the late Virginia Taylor Sugg. She was married to the late William Robert Pierce.
She is survived by a son and two daughters.
Visitation will follow the chapel service.
Arrangements are by Minshew-Coley Funeral Home in Kenly.
