Harriett N. Mitchell, 86, 503 N. Queen St., Apt. 1D, Kinston, died Saturday in Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Snow Hill.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle in Kinston. Burial will be in Branch Cemetery in Pink Hill.
She was born April 5, 1928, in Lenoir County to Will and Mary King Newberne.
She is survived by seven children.
Visitation Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2308 Riley Road, Kinston, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
