PATRICIA NICELY UNDERHILL

Wednesday morning, July 23, 2014, Patricia Nicely Underhill, 78, Goldsboro, moved to her heavenly home while surrounded by her loving children.
Patricia was a godly woman, who loved the Lord and her family, and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 25, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of Patricia's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Barry House officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Patricia retired from Civil Service after 20 years of service for Social Security, and later went to work with Jackson Moving and Storage.
She also served her country in the United States Air Force.
Patricia was a devoted member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church, and her Christian witness provided an example for anyone with whom she came into contact.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Catherine Nicely Thorne of Goldsboro and Terri Nicely Jamieson and husband, Greg, of Vanceboro, and son, Charles David Nicely of Columbia, S.C.
Patricia loved her family, and was blessed with three grandchildren, Erin Jamieson Day, Alysha Maitland Norbury and Emily Jamieson Shelton, and a great-grandchild, Audrey Estelle Day.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Melton Underhill.
We would like to give a very special thank you to Dr. Shannon Jimenez and Home, Health and Hospice and its team for the love and care they provided for Patricia during her final days. Simple words cannot express our gratitude.
