Herbert Ralph "Rusty" Lane, 53, Snow Hill, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at his home.
Rusty was born in Beaufort County, S.C., June 9, 1961, to the late Charles and Linda Davis Lane.
He was employed as a nutritionist at Britthaven Nursing Home in Snow Hill.
Rusty served his county in the United States Army.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Rusty is survived by his wife, Leslee Lane of Goldsboro; daughter, Payton Lane of Goldsboro; sons, Josh Lane of LaGrange, Preston Lane of Goldsboro and Justin Lane of Princeton; sister, Cheryl Casey and husband, Charlie, of Goldsboro; brother, Glenn Lane and special friend, Chris Martin, of Goldsboro and Johnny Lane and wife, Louann, of Seven Springs; and special friends, Brenda Artis and Bongi.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
