WILL C. COTTLE

Will Carroll Cottle, 80, Calypso, passed away Saturday, July 12, at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral will be Tuesday, July 15, at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Greg Day and Mrs. Anne Lee Bartlett, and with burial following at Wayne Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday, July 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, and other times at the residence.
Mr. Cottle, a veteran of the United States Navy, was a longtime truck driver for Chas. F. Cates and Son, was a retired farmer and had operated an antique shop.
He was a member of Calypso Baptist Church.
He is survived by five children, Pam Cottle Rouse and husband, David, of Calypso, Carroll Cottle of Mount Olive and his special friend, Debbie Stilley of Kinston, Connie Cottle Kelly and husband, Johnny, of Calypso, Cindy Cottle King and husband, Gerald, of Mount Olive and Betsy Cottle of Faison; his fiancee´, Elizabeth Johnson of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ned Cottle and wife, Janet, of Goldsboro; a sister, Mary Dallas Cottle Sutton of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Grimes Cottle; his parents, John Clarence and Nettie Lee Carrroll Cottle; and five brothers, Lee, Tommy, Bobby, John and James Cottle.
