DORIS SMITH MEEKS

Doris Smith Meeks, 75, LaGrange, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at her home.
Doris was born in St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 3, 1938, to the late William O. Smith and Ruby Mae Stilwell Smith. She was married to the late John Berry Meeks Jr.
Doris retired from Civil Service at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, and was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.
The family received friends Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment followed in Wayne Memorial Park.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Johnson of LaGrange and Ruth Price and husband, Tony, of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Misty Sisco, Bobby Johnson, Todd Price and Becky Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Ruby Johnson and Lilly Johnson.
