Margie Rose Corbett Witt, 71, Martinsville, Va., passed away peacefully Friday, June 6, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital surrounded by her family.
Margie was born in Wayne County Oct. 26, 1942, to the late Richard and Pearline Smith Corbett.
She had worked for many years with eBay.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Newsome Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Barry Teague officiating.
Margie is survived by her daughters, Belinda Lowery of Martinsville Va., and Crystal Gentry and Thomas of Bassett, Va.; sons, Terry Register and Kim of Axton, Va., Jeff Register of Martinsville, Va., and Barry Witt and Kay of Oak Level, Va.; sisters, Nancy Scott of Goldsboro and Lola Capps of Goldsboro; brothers, Donald Corbett, Joe Corbett and Clayton Corbett, all of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Angeline Burroughs and Marie Colie.
