LARRY W. FLINN
March 7, 1937-June 1, 2014
Retired United States Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Larry Willis Flinn, 77, Pikeville, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Vidant Medical Center.
Larry was born in Indianapolis, Ind., March 7, 1937, to the late George Willis Flinn and Mary Robbins Flinn. He was married to the late Bonnie Gott Flinn.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors, on the water or in the woods. He was a hunter of big and small game, and loved walking in the woods and fields with a gun.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by the rendering of military honors on the front lawn.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Candi McClure and husband, Gary, of Pikeville; son, Merle Rush of Fort Riley, Fla.; grandchildren, David McClure, Shelby Oliver, Christopher Rush and Nina Rush; and sister, Marilyn Thompson of Danville, Va.
