MARY H. LANIER
Sept. 25, 1929-May 26, 2014
Mrs. Mary Howard Lanier, 84, resident of White Flash community near Mount Olive, passed from sickness and suffering into life eternal in the early morning of Monday, May 26, 2014, while at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, and surrounded by her family.
Her family and those who loved her are grateful that after many years of poor health, she has been received by her Lord and savior with whom she will forever abide.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 28, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Rose and the Rev. Harold Glenn Kennedy officiating, followed by visitation. Burial will be Thursday, May 29, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
Friends and relatives are also being received at the residence.
Mrs. Lanier is survived by her daughter, Kathy Faye Lanier Outlaw of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Glen A. and Ginger Lanier of LaGrange; a granddaughter, Mary L. McArthur of LaGrange; and a sister and brother-in-law, Jerline H. and Jerald Griffith of Deep Run.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbett A. Lanier; a son-in-law, Joseph Woodrow Outlaw; a daughter-in-law, Barbara S. Lanier; a brother, Wooten Howard; and her parents, Tommie and Lula Jarman Howard.
Instead of flowers, the family would very much appreciate contributions to Tyndall Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
