Lois Lorene Kornegay, 80, 604-A Goldsboro St., Fremont, died Sunday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ, with the Rev. Tony Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born June 2, 1933, to James and Piccola Coley Jones in Wayne County.
She is survived by three children.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at St. James Church of Christ. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
