Royal Bryant Aycock, 88, Fremont, died March 26, 2014.
Funeral will be Saturday at 6 p.m. at Fremont Free Will Baptist Church, followed by visitation. Interment will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
Royal was preceded in death by his first wife, Inez Toler Aycock.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Outland Hooks Aycock; sons, Jimmy Aycock (Judy) and Bryant Aycock (Katherine) both of Pikeville; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; stepson, Danny Hooks of Fremont; sister, Rose Hales (the Rev. Gene) of Goldsboro; and brother, the Rev. Bobby Aycock of Goldsboro.
