BARBARA ANN BUFFALO MOSES

Barbara Ann Buffalo Moses, 69, peacefully transitioned from Earth to glory Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born in Wayne County Dec. 9, 1944, to the late Hilda Lewis Buffalo and Willie Buffalo Sr.
A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 2 p.m. at New Stoney Hill Holy Church, with Dr. Howard E. McNair officiating. She will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Tonya Buffalo of Atlanta, Ga., Wanda B. Dixon of Alexandria, Va., and Kimberly B. Middleton of Goldsboro; a son, Kelvin Buffalo of Goldsboro; a sister, Carolyn Jean Buffalo of Goldsboro; a brother, Willie (Janie) Buffalo of Philadelphia, Pa.; and an uncle, Carl Buffalo of Edgewater, Md.
Viewing will be held Friday, March 7, 2014, from 2 to 7 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive.
The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., and at other times, at the home of her sister at 603 S. Andrews Ave., where it will also assemble for the funeral procession.
