Marvin Ray Williams, 55, 701 S. Taylor St., died Sunday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
Funeral will be Thursday at noon at St. Luke Church of Christ, with the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery with military honors.
He was born July 1, 1958, to Margaret Williams Yancy and Bobby Newsome in Wayne County.
He is survived by four children.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
