MILDRED BENNETT

Mildred Bennett, 90, died Saturday at Willow Creek.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Nora Edwards Wise.
A homemaker, she enjoyed quilting, making aprons for the church harvest sale, tending the flowers in her yard and gathering pecans.
She was a member of Friendly Holiness Church in Grantham.
Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Visitation will follow the service.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by three daughters-in-law, Evelyn Bennett, Connie Bennett and Judy Hinson all of Mount Olive; a brother, Everette Wise and wife, Gladys, of Mount Olive; a sister, Nora Lee Bennett of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Lori Ann Rouse, Barbara Langston, Jesse Bennett and Dana Person; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five children, Carroll, Robert, Jerry, Mary Lou and Albert Bennett, and two grandchildren, Jennifer Bennett and Mark Allen Bennett.
Flowers are welcome and memorials may be sent to Friendly Holiness Church, 1000 S. Jordan's Chapel Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
