Kenneth Jefferson 54, formerly of Goldsboro, departed this life early Wednesday morning at The Oaks of Town Center in Harrisburg, N.C.
He was the son of Evelyn G. Jefferson of Goldsboro and Samuel Jefferson Sr. of Tuskegee, Ala.
Kenneth was a 1977 graduate of Goldsboro High School and a 1981 graduate of NCCU.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Jefferson of Harrisburg, N.C.; a son, Kenneth Jefferson Jr. of Winterville, N.C.; a daughter, Ashton Jefferson of Winston-Salem State University; two brothers, Samuel Jefferson Jr. of New Kent, Va., and Wayne Jefferson of Stallings, N.C.; a sister, Sandra Fox of Onancock, Va.; an uncle, Solomon Jefferson of Tuskegee, Ala., other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 23, 1 p.m. at Little Rock AME Zion Church, 401 N. McDowell St., Charlotte, N.C 28204. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Long and Sons Mortuary Services, 2312 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
